The shoot
The shoot didn't go too bad. We got all of the shots we wanted however some shots did not look very good when we shot them. For example, we wanted some shots that were set outside. However, when we filmed them we couldn't get the lighting correct and the shots didn't work. Therefore, we had to change our idea a bit.
Due to this changing of the idea we had to add some more cutaways and change the ending of the video. This did not effect the shoot too much and we made it work eventually. We also had difficulty whilst shooting the drummer. The actor we used is not a particularly skilled drummer and we struggled to get some good shots to use in the music video. However, he did get better as the shoot went on and we managed to get some decent shots.
We also had some issues during the party scenes of the shoot. Some people had to drop out last minute and we didn't have enough time to bring in more recruits. This meant we had to change some of the party scenes to accommodate for having less actors available. This didn't effect the shoot too much as it was easy to change some shots and make it work. Another problem we had with the party scenes is making the actors look natural. At times it became too obvious that they were acting and it was not natural enough to use.

Actors
There will be several actors starring in the music video. These include:
Jack Burton (me) - I will be part of the band and will be the singer of the group. I was chosen to be the singer of the group as I wasn't much good at
anything else.
Chirstopher Gent - Christopher will be another member of the band. He is a close friend of the group and has starred in other videos we have produced. He was chosen to be the drummer as he was better than anyone else at it.
Matthew McQueen - Matthew will be the third member of the band. He is also a close friend of the group and has featured in previous productions. He was chosen to be the guitarist as he plays guitar so he knows what he is doing.
Tyler Bailey - Tyler will play one of the victims in the music video. He will be the first to die. He has helped with previous productions and he willingly volunteered to feature in this video.
Amy Dimbleby - Amy is the second victim in the music video. We asked her to be in the video as she is a friend of the group and she wanted to be a part of the video.
Jamie Pick - Jamie will be a partygoer and not a victim. He will play the character that finds the dead bodies in the kitchen.
Benjamin Mark Thorogood - Benjamin will play a partygoer. He will not be a victim and will be the life and soul of the party.

Props
We will need several props throughout the music video. We will need instruments, a guitar, a drum kit and a microphone, for the music video. These will be used as part of the performance aspect of the video and they will be shown being used by the actors in the video.
We will also need an ipod, or similar device, to show the song being played at the very beginning of the video.
Beer bottles and glasses will be used throughout the video to show the party atmosphere and to make the scenario very clear.
Cards will be used in the video to show some of the actors playing a game as part of the narrative.

Lighting
The lighting will be very high for some parts of the video. The performance shots will be shot in a kitchen, with very high lighting throughout. This light will come from the lights around the kitchen and we won't use any other lighting effects.
The party scenes in the living room will have a lower lighting. We will just use one or two lamps around the corners of the room so it is still light and all of the shots are very clear and visible. The lighting will be quite natural and would be the same kind of lighting you would expect to see at a party like the one we shot.
The 'I did warn you not to hear..' scene will have very low lighting. We want this part of the video to be very dark and appear quite sinister. There will be some light, from a torch, coming in from below the actors, so the light is shining up on their faces. So although the shots will be very dark there will still be enough light so the actors can be seen and their perfroming can be seen.

Corpse In The Kitchen music deconstruction
The song has a high tempo and is quite upbeat. Because of this we will make the video quite fast paced and fun. With a lower tempo song the video would be more serious whereas with this high tempo song we have chosen, it would make more sense to do a video that is less serious and maybe add a humour elemant to the video.
There are a lot of instrumental parts to the song, this will give us a lot of time to work a narrative into the song and use lots of cutaways and different shots in the music video. We could also use these instrumental parts to show instruments being played as part of a performance. Various shots of a guitarist and drummer can be used in these sections of the video.
The lyrics of the song are quite simple and can be performed very easily. This would allow us to do a lot of vocal performance shots in the video without it being too tricky. The 'I did warn you not to hear...' part of the song is much slower and a more serious part of the song. We could use this more serious part of the song for performance shots with a very low lighting. The low lighting would make this part of the video appear more serious and sinister.
The chorus of the song is repeated four times, making it quite lengthy. This would allow us to do lots of performance shots during the chorus and give us time to maybe use some cutaways in the chorus.
